‘Born in 1967 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fabian Perez had a difficult childhood. His father owned bordellos and nightclubs that were illegal. He also was a gambler. To this day, Fabian remembers the police coming to their home looking for his father who would try to escape through the back door. “So many times he went to jail. I remember when I was very young going to police stations and looking for him.”’

Wow, they are all incredible and inspiring, aren’t they? I don’t think I can pick a favourite. Which one is yours?
1, 20, 21, and especially the men with hats. I don’t really like the faces of the women. 🙂
I mean their character, not the brushwork. 🙂
I’m glad to hear that, Vincent. Very glad.
I was thinking maybe number 21, but the men with hats conjure up so many stories for me. Thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of this artist. He’s amazing!
I like #7 a lot. And then I really like #12, #14 and #24.
Your favorites, Vincent?
I couldn’t help but notice that the painting you’ve included in ’50-Word Tales #130′ is very similar in style to the work of Fabian Perez – #6. That’s Perez’s too, isn’t it?
See my comment above Meghna. 🙂
Yes, it is. Perspicacious you!
Bull’s eye! 😀
Perspicacious is a nice word… You sure English isn’t your first language?
Nice! These are probably the best you’ve shown so far.
Have a lovely night, my friend!:)
#28. He tries and fails to project the romance in his heart onto the vain women around him.
Such great art . . . My favorite is the woman hold the RED umbrella . . . One of my favorite colors is red . . .
Love!
21 is my absolute favourite. So sensual.
