Sometimes you don’t have time to post on your blog
You don’t feel like it
You want to look not into you
But out the window instead.
But then you think of your followers
Not the follower count
But of two or three who
Expect your post today
Followers who may wonder whether something happened to you
Whether a car ran over you
Whether the blender malfunctioned in a bad sort of way
I’m fine. I’m okay. It’s what I always say.
Blogging is fun, but not every day.
Still, I felt sorry for not posting today
So I made this post to be
Mostly about you.
Not Another Post

You beautifully expressed what I’ve been feeling lately – thank you. I also love your use of “you” and “I” in this post 🙂
But isn’t it easier to update photo blogs than other types of blogs? An image now and then, with or without text…
well, the thing is, I don’t think I have a photo blog 😛 the focus of my blog is writing, the photos are a visual extra. I use social media to share them on a regular basis 🙂
Yes, I was teasing you a little. There’s definitely more text on your blog than photos, which is great because blogging works great with text. There are other, more convenient photo-sharing networks for photographers. 🙂
haha – oh you, you caught me here. I tried really hard not to feel offended 😛
have a lovely weekend 🙂
That is so thoughtful and sweet.
How kind, Vincent, to think of those who may be wondering. I do love to read your posts, and yes, I do look out for them too! Your blog makes me feel peaceful, your words are wonderful. Thank you!
I understand sometimes I feel a little worn & tired of posting. We push ourselves, glad you posted this today! 🙂
So true. “Blogging is fun, but not everyday.” Besides, blogging gets in the way of reading blog posts.
Timing really is spot-on today, thank you! And yes you are inspiring as well.
I’m just starting out, I’ve just come to realize how much work you people put into your blogs. Really, for me coming up with an idea is half the blog XD. I’m a big fan btw! 😀
