
‘I plead guilty,’ she said.
Silence fell in the courtroom.
The jurors and the judge stared at her wide-eyed.
‘Hold your tongue woman!’ her lawyer whispered.
‘Hell no!’ she roared.
‘I butchered my husband and his slut I did! I want no life in prison.
Give me the electric chair!’
