One autumn evening he waited for her under the bridge.
He dragged her into some bushes and raped her.
After he had finished he got up and pulled up his pants.
She laughed hysterically.
‘Shut up!’ he said. ‘Everyone knows you’re a whore.’
‘AIDS!’ she shouted, ‘AIDS!’
He turned white.

I write as a way of life: stories, blogs, articles, almost-poems. I'm a freelancer, a vegetarian, and I listen to Leonard Cohen and enjoy French films. We are dying a little more with each new day we live, so shouldn't we make the most of our time?

Coming out of left field. Good one.
What’s wrong with the right field? 😛
your right I should not discriminate.
This one shook me.
Like a leaf?
Like a branch?
Like a Polaroid picture?
Like a salt shaker?
Or like a milkshake?
A milkshake. Definitely, a milkshake.
You are so interesting!
Great picture, gruesome story.
I should have thrown a baby in there as well. 🙂
That first lines sends the reader in one direction – we are thinking of a romantic meeting, and then suddenly we are snapped in another direction entirely!
Gets what he deserves. I love these short stories
I love people who love short stories. 🙂
Vicious. Like it.
I don’t know if I can “like” this one!
Why not? It’s a good story. And well written too! The world is full of other things apart from unicorns and faeries. 🙂
Rape makes me sick. 😦
But I know it’s well written, and I know the world is full of not-so-beautiful things.
So what about that novel, you were supposedly attempting to write??
‘supposedly attempting to write’?
My oh my!
I’ve finished it I did! And now I’m editing it.
Oh that’s great news. Can you give us a gist?
Want to be a test reader? 🙂
I would love too, but I can’t. 3 Reasons.
1. I don’t own a laptop, nor a Tab. And sitting on the hard chair, slouching, staring at the screen gets my shoulder aching.
2. Lack of enough time.
3. Lack of privacy & peace.
I’d be happy to be a test reader.
Eh, sorry, didn’t mean it that way :(. Really.
Oh, don’t worry!
I have confused feelings about this. It’s very dark.
You still wouldn’t give us a gist??
