Every morning, the woman with the glossy black hair passed by the writer’s window.
When she was coming he stopped writing and hid behind the curtains, so he could see her without being seen for up to six seconds.
He wrote a little story about her, but she never knew.
(Based on a true story.)

I write as a way of life: stories, blogs, articles, almost-poems. I'm a freelancer, a vegetarian, and I listen to Leonard Cohen and enjoy French films. We are dying a little more with each new day we live, so shouldn't we make the most of our time?

Self-referential story?
Yep!
If I were you, I’d go to through away the trash instead to hide behind the curtains. Or maybe, knowing me, I’d actually be hiding behind the curtains… But you should go out with the trash instead. :).
Why should he go out with trash? He deserves better!
Oh, but the BWaH may like trash, n’est pas? He’s that way sometimes, I think..
After all, he send me out for mustard (ha)

Haha! Go with the trash? That’s a great pretext. And then maybe I will ask for the time, and for a cigarette and go into a lengthy exposition on the disadvantages of smoking… much good might come out of an awkward situation.
Yet… I shall stay behind the curtains for now, while the trash can fills…
You always have such beautiful illustrations…x
It’s a beautiful story with a pure heart
I love this little story. It’s so wistful. Lovely writing…
And when is he deciding to let her know? I think it should be quite soon.
She has not passed by his window for a week. 😦
Wow. She’s incredibly lucky. =)
Cute… I need to sit down one afternoon and read these all.
Or talk with me instead!
