House of the Free Press (Casa Presei Libere) seen from the shore of Lake Herastrau.
Built in 1957 by departed communists, The House of the Free Press (Casa Presei Libere) hosts many of the local newspapers, and some publishing houses, too. It’s 104 m (341 ft) tall (antenna included) and spreads over a surface of 32,000 m2. The great earthquake of 1977 caught my grandmother inside, who still tells stories of great wall mirrors shattering to great effect.
I write as a way of life: stories, blogs, articles, almost-poems. I'm a freelancer, a vegetarian, and I listen to Leonard Cohen and enjoy French films. We are dying a little more with each new day we live, so shouldn't we make the most of our time?
